OUR STORY
The Heath Family
A FAMILY DREAM
Our family's Christmas tree journey with Coleman Mountain Tree Farm began in 2018. This is the fourth generation on this land, originally cultivated as a tobacco field. What started as a dream to make it a farm again has grown into a labor of love that the whole family now shares.
For years, the Heaths have patiently tended their Fraser fir seedlings, nurturing them through the seasons, shaping them by hand, and watching them grow into the beautiful Christmas trees they are today. Fraser firs take between 7 and 10 years to reach the ideal height for a Christmas tree, so we knew from the start that this would be a long-term commitment — one rooted in patience, faith, and a deep love for the land.
In late November 2025, that patience finally bore fruit. Coleman Mountain Tree Farm opened its gates for its very first selling season. Their inaugural season was warmly received by the community, with visitors praising the quality of the trees and the genuine, family-friendly atmosphere. One visitor sent a photo of her tree in late January, still up and beautifully green with very few needles fallen - wow!
This tree farm is more than a business — it's a testament to what can grow when you combine hard work, faith, and a love for the Appalachian Mountains. We look forward to welcoming families back each season, helping them find the perfect tree and create memories that will last for generations.

Why Choose Us
FAMILY
FIRST
Everything we do is centered around family — ours and yours. We want every visit to the farm to feel like coming home.
QUALITY TREES
We take pride in every tree we grow. Each Fraser fir is carefully tended by hand to ensure it becomes the perfect centerpiece for your holiday.
WHOLESOME
EXPERIENCE
If you like the idea of a simple, yet memorable tree farm, then come see us! We are not a large scale farm where you will get lost in the crowds. You will personally meet our family and be served by our entire family.
BUILDING TRADITIONS
We believe that choosing your Christmas tree should be an experience — a tradition that families look forward to year after year.
DEDICATED TO COMMUNITY
Every Christmas, we donate Christmas trees to families in need. We want to ensure that every family experiences the joy and warmth of a real Christmas tree. LEARN MORE

Say hello to Ramsey, the farm Labrador! She is part of our family too, and will likely be on the farm for your visit. She loves to help by being your companion on the hillsides. Ramsey is always off-leash roaming the hills with our children and guests. Our farm is pet-friendly, but we kindly ask that you be responsible for them by cleaning up after them and ensuring they remain on leash. If your dog is not good with other dogs or children, we respectfully ask you leave them at home. Thank you for understanding!
